Our Team

In the 1970s, Brad and Todd grew up working summers at their father’s business, Akron, OH based Triplett Auto Recyclers. They swept the warehouse, cleaned hub caps, broke down tires, and finally were allowed to work on the sales counter. They remember the 1970’s, when Triplett was one of the first users of Auto Info, an innovative computer system built to help manage salvage yards.

After college, a few years apart, they both began working full time with their father Stu Willen at Triplett. They grew the company from $3 million in revenue in 1990, to $20 million in 1998 when they sold the business and became the first acquisition of LKQ Corporation.

Todd and Brad enjoyed another 20 years working at LKQ, and helping the company achieve its unprecedented success. Brad specialized in inventory procurement, pricing, and software development. Todd focused on Sales and Operations. They contributed to LKQ focused mainly in the Midwest Region, but also played roles on a national basis at times. 

After enjoying a few years of retirement, late in 2022, the Willens decided to start up Bam Bam Auto Parts, a niche company focusing on automotive head lights and fog lights. We understand that auto lights are  highly complex. The focus on one part category will allow us to have a competitive advantage in quality, service, and provide competitive pricing. The company is selling top quality recycled, reconditioned, and OEM surplus parts and expects the customer experience to be unrivaled.
